National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG is the only exam that is conducted for admission in MBBS, BDS, and B.VSc in India. There are various paramedical courses in which one can get admission based on NEET UG.
Candidates willing to appear for NEET must have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The minimum age for this exam is 17 years as of 31st December and there is no upper age limit.
The test paper consists of 180 multiple-choice questions (45questions each from Physics and Chemistry and 90 questions from Biology). Paper comprises of total 720 marks and the time allotted is 180minutes.
By qualifying NEET students become eligible to take admission in medical and dental colleges. Based on rank bagged by them, they are allotted colleges in which they can take admission. NEET has been implemented by the union government to improve the standard of medical education and students from all over India appear for it every year.
