To pursue an ANM course, one must have a 10+2 with a minimum of 45 percent and English as a compulsory subject. The minimum age to pursue this course is 17 years, and the maximum age limit is 35 years as of December 31st of the same year. The Indian Nursing Council has approved the colleges that offer ANM courses (INC).
ANM Diploma holders have a wide range of opportunities in both the private and public sectors. Individuals can work as staff nurses, nursing assistants, ICU nurses, and other positions in both government and private hospitals. Following the completion of the ANM course, students can pursue GNM. To begin a career in the government sector, candidates must pass the government’s examination.
