Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT) is a 4 and a half year paramedical course that is pursued by students after completion of 10+2 with Physics, chemistry and biology as main subjects. This course focuses on physical movements of the body including manual therapy, exercises, sports injuries etc.

These colleges whether private or govt. must be affiliated to state or central university and recognized by Indian Association of Physiotherapist. For getting admission in Government college, one must qualify an entrance exam conducted at National or State level. Admission in Government College is done through counseling.
