Candidates willing to take admission in this course are often confused about the admission procedure. So, let us have a quick look towards the admission procedure, eligibility criteria as well as career scope of this course.
Some students think that in order to pursue M. Pharma, they need to qualify an entrance i.e., Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT). But it is definitely not so. GPAT is a national level entrance examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). By qualifying GPAT, students can get admission in top ranked government or private colleges at a lesser fee than the regular fee charged. But this does not mean that a student not appearing for GPAT, cannot get admission in MPharma. There are many colleges that offer MPharma course without GPAT scores. For getting admission in such colleges, a student must have passed B. Pharma with a minimum of 50% from a recognized university, approved by PCI. These colleges either conducted their own entrance exam or give admission through merit lists based on the scores obtained by the students at Graduation level i.e., BPharma.
