WHICH PARAMEDICAL COURSES CAN BE PURSUED AFTER 10+2?

Paramedical courses are the courses that impart knowledge related to medical field. Students pursuing these courses are taught topics related to body ailments, their diagnosis and treatment. Students need to choose the right course and go through the details of the course before applying for it. BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN PARAMEDICAL COURSES

DURATION – 3 TO 4 YEARS

DIPLOMA PARAMEDICAL COURSES

DURATION – 1 TO 3 YEARS

CERTIFICATE PARAMEDICAL COURSES

DURATION – 6 MONTHS TO 2 YEARS

  • Certificate in Nursing Care Assistant
  • Certificate – Dental Assistant
  • Certificate in HIV and Family Education

ELIGIBILTY

The eligibility for pursuing paramedical courses is different for each course. For some courses it is 10+2 from Science stream (PCM/ PCB) whereas for courses such as GNM and ANM it is 10+2 from Science, Commerce or Arts.

Paramedical courses are lucrative and job oriented. These can be pursued by students after 10+2. After completing Bachelor or Diploma courses, students can either opt for working as professionals or can go for higher studies. There is a vast scope of these courses and choosing the right course change individuals into competent health care professionals.
